About Us

Turtlecreek Community Church was established in January 2006. We’re not just another church for a community that seems to already have enough churches. In fact, did you know that within a five-mile radius of the Golden Lamb, there are over 40 churches!?

As we were considering starting a new church, we discovered that only three out of ten people in this area say that they go to church. As we went knocking on hundreds of doors in Lebanon, we discovered that it’s not the lack of interest in spiritual things that keeps people from church, it’s often the churches themselves. Too many people feel that “church” is a scary, foreign, intimidating environment where they don’t belong or won’t be accepted.

Not at Turtlecreek Church. In fact, we are all about helping people disconnected with God figure out this "God thing" in a relevant way in a comfortable atmosphere. We look for ever-changing ways to share a never-changing message, and always in an environment that’s welcoming and non-judgmental. Plus, the music’s always great and there’s always something very cool for the kids.
